The Darkhorse candidate, Anthony Tordillos, has taken an advantage of five votes in Matthew Quevedo for second place in the council of the City Council of District 3, adding a little more streak space in his search to enter a June runoff. Talkative.

While Chavez-Lopez has cemented her place as the leading candidate, earing 29.9% of the vote, the margin betegeween second and third place had remained betsen one and two votes over the past week-with both both candidates switching tords in the pecked ordering ordering ordering ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Ordering Order Order Order, 22.19% to 22.13%.

Althegh, the race for the second could still turn, has become a virtual certainty that a runoff will occur on June 24 because no, candidate broke the voting mark of 50%.

Tuesday’s electoral ballot, a week after the elections, marked the last day that the Voting Registrar of the County of Santa Clara would accept tickets by mail, provided they were killing before April 8.

However, the race to enter a second round is far from finishing, with the voter registrar that estimates that there are 30 unprocessed tickets as or 4 pm

The thin margins among the candidates have also left the possibility of a count open, since the county policy requires an automatic review for the competitions with a margin of victory less than .25% or where that margin is less than 25 total votes. The final results of the election will be certified before April 28.

Chávez-López, Tordillos and Quevedo quickly became the favorites in the race that initially presented seven candidates to replace the former dishonored member of the former member of the City Council, Omar Torres, who resigned in November and charges of minor positions.

Completing the field the former candidate of the Irene Smith City Council, who won 16% of the votes, followed by Adam Duran, Tyrone Wade and Phil Dolan.

While there is a certain uncertainty about who will face in the runoff, Chávez-López tolerates Mercury’s news that he will not affect his campaign in the future while trying the voters who supported the duration of Eather’s candidates.
