San Jose – The time of goalkeeper Alexandar Georgiev with the San Jose Sharks is finishing.

Georgiev said minutes after the 3-0 defeat of the shark season against the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday that General Manager Mike Grier informed him that he did not return with the team next season.

Georgiev is in the last year of a three -year contract and $ 10.2 million that he signed with the avalanche of Colorado in July 2022 and will become a free free agent without restrictions. The sharks acquired Georgiev and the extreme Nikolai Kovalenko in December as part of the exchange that sent the goalkeeper Mackenzie Blackwood in Colorado.
