Ben Affleck keeps him elegant.
The director of “Argo”, 52, praised Jennifer López in rare comments about her ex -wife at the premiere of the “Accountant 2” in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Affleck told Entertainment Tonight that the five combined children of him and López were at the premiere. Affleck has three children, Samuel, 13, Seraphina, 16, and Violet, 19, with ex -wife Jennifer Garner, while López, 55, shares the twins Emme and Max, 17, with the ex -husband Marc Anthony.
“The children are here, Jen’s children are here. I’m very excited,” Affleck said on the red carpet. “I love when all children come out.”
The actor “Daredevil” made it clear that he is still in good terms with López and his children despite his recent divorce.
“I do not read things online much, and sometimes I have the feeling that people perpetuate the idea of … want to find something negative to speak,” he said.
“For registration, Jennifer López is spectacular, great for my children, an excellent relationship with them,” said Affleck. “I love her children. They are wonderful. She is [an] Very important, tremendous person of great integrity to whom I adore and I am grateful. “
He continued: “I am delighted that children are here with me. The relationships you can have children like that, is the joy of my life. And those children are incredible, and I am a shoe that is a movie that they want to come.”
When ET reporter told AFFleck that he is “a very good father,” Affleck replied: “He does everything possible.”
Affleck married the singer “Let’s Get Loud” in July 2022, two decades after canceling his initial commitment.
López requested divorce in August 2024 after they separated four months before. The couple ended their divorce in January.
López broke his silence to divorce AFFleck in an interview magazine in October, and said he does not regret his romance.
“That doesn’t mean it hardly gets me forever. He almost did,” he shared. “But now, on the other hand, I think for Mixel, ‘F – K, that’s exactly what I needed. Thank you, God. I’m sorry, it took me so long. I regret that you had to do this so many times.”
Affleck, meanwhile, finally addressed divorce last month in an interview with GQ and talked about how they managed fame differently, which was evident in López’s 2024 documentary “The greatest love story ever told.”
“My temperament is to be a bit more reserved and private than hers. As in relations, you don’t always have the attitude towards these things,” Affleck said.
“And then I thought, oh, this is interesting because you reconcile that? You love and support this person. I think they are great. I want people to see that,” he continued. “And I think what I said in that documentary or piece they used where I said:” Do not marry a boat captain. “And then say:” Well, I don’t like going out into the water. “You have to possess what you knew in any relationship.”
Affleck also clarified: “I think it is important to say that this was not the cause of an important fracture.”
The former partner has maintained peace in her family mixed since her separation. A month after López requested the divorce, they were taken to four of their children to lunch at the Beverly Hills hotel.
A few days later, López and Affleck gathered on the night back to their children’s school.
