After the 4-3 victory of the Yankees over the real ones in the final of the series, the Yankees got on a flight back to their second home.

Only he won his second home and will not be seen, since he left behind to start the 2025 season.

The Rays currently occupy George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida, from the homemade stadium in Saint Petersburg, Tropicana Field, was severely damaged by Hurricane Milton in October.

The Yankees will return to Tampa for the first time this season for a series of four games against their division rival and Aaron Boone said he has felt emotion of his team to see the new atmosphere.

“I think we are excited to get off the plane in the middle of the night tonight in a hot air. That will be fun,” Boone said before Wednesday’s victory. “It will be interesting.

The stadium has undergone an image change. The letters “Yankees” on the high wall along the first baseline have been replaced.

The Club House has a light blue and yellow combination with a “home of the rays” sign, and the top circle logo on the garden has tasks in a “TB”.

Statistics from early season show that George M. Steinbrenner Field is more a batting park.

In the same dimensions as the Yankee stage, it is currently the eleventh most offensive favorable stage with six percent more favorable than others, according to the metric of the Baseball Savant Park factor.

As the season progresses and the weather becomes warmer in Florida, the numbers could increase.

On Tuesday, Boone said he believes that the stadium is still being discovered by each team when asked if he had heard how it is in the major leagues.

“Every time you are in a new stadium, you try to make sense,” he said. “Oh, is the ball to fly? What is real? What is not? I think people are still trying to make them formulations. You see a series of homers beaten in a day, you think:” Oh, it will be. “… well, we’ll see.
