The two and not doing the culture of tips are often the debate center, and a traveler exploded the conversation after sharing that they blatantly encouraged “if you want to show appreciation” in a hotel.

“Are we supposed to be tilting the hotels? The parking lot cost $ 40/night and [there was] Without breakfast, ”shared a Reddit user.

The user published his question along with a photo that reveals that he stayed in a Patio Marriott, where a sign that remains in his room asked for advice.

“The tips became easier,” the sign, which included a QR code for the client to scan and leave a tip for “our working wage assistant.”

Users in the comments section said people should not bow to hotel employees and criticize the hotel industry for trusting advice instead of paying their employees enough.

“ABO-F-KING-LUTELY No … Do not allow another industry to leave with yours paying horrible salaries and wait for your workers employees to win a decent salary through optional advice … it does not support labor abuse,” one was miserable.

“They should tell their own employees of their profits,” said another.

“They never give me the hotels and I do not feel pressured to do it, as special when I am paying several hundred dollars per night to rent a room. I hope it is clean. I am not paying anymore,” someone intervened.

“This is what I read:” We don’t care or appreciate our working staff, “another wrote.

“Imagine the promotion of feeling that ‘dipping became more’ as if it were a dark idea that everyone comes out, but new find the opportunity,” said someone.

Many people noticed that the only time they give a tip in a hotel or motel situation is when they take a cruise.

The American Travel Advisors Society emphasized that the tip is a personal decision, but they still noticed that “the support of an employee denounces in advice.”

A study, according to Southern Living magazine, revealed that only 23% of guests leave a tip for hotels. Experts have advised to leave a cash tip of $ 1 to $ 5 per night in medium range hotels and $ 10 to $ 20 per night in houses or villas. Children and pets can also raise the amount of the tip.

The travel advisors suggested tip daily, since it can have a different keys of keys every day, “why could you also get a better service.”

“Do not leave shipwrecked articles instead of a monetary tip,” said another advisor.
