A new help system in Gaza opened its first distribution centers on Monday, according to a group backed by the United States that said it began to deliver food to the Palestinians who face the growing hunger after the blockade of almost three months of Israel to press Hamas.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation is a taking of the handling of aid despite the objections of the United Nations. The desperately necessary supplies began to flow in a day that saw the Israeli strikes kill at least 52 people in Gaza.
The group said that food loaded trucks did not say how many, they had been delivered to their centers, and the distribution to the Palestinians had begun. It was not clear where the centers were located or how those recurring supplies were chosen.
“Tomorrow more trucks will be delivered with help, with the help flow every day,” said the foundation in a statement.
UN groups and aid have backed up the new system, which is backed by Israel and the United States. They claim that Israel is trying to use food as a weapon and say that a new system won is effective.
Israel has pressed for an alternative aid delivery plan because he says he should prevent Hamas from taking advantage of. The UN has denied that the militant group has diverted large quantities.
The Foundation begged operations one day after the resignation of its executive director. Jake Wood, an American, said it had been clear that the Foundation would not be allowed to operate independently. It is not clear who is financing the group, who said he had appointed an interim leader, John Acree, to replace the wood,
The organization is composed of former humanitarian, governmental and military officers. He said that his distribution points will be protected by private security companies and that a million Palestinians would reach, about half of the population of Gaza, at the end of the week.
Under the pressure of the allies, Israel begged to allow a drip of humanitarian aid in Gaza last week after blocking all foods, medications, fuels or other goods since the beginning of March. Help groups have warned about the famine and say that the help it has arrived is not close enough to meet the growing needs.
Hamas warned the Palestinians on Monday that they do not cooperate with the new help system, saying that it is destined to promote those objectives.
The Israeli air attacks killed at least 36 people in a schoolchary converted into a blow that was beaten while people slept, which set their belongings on fire, according to local health officials. The army said he attacked militants who operated from school.

The ultranationalists march in East Jerusalem, they break into a UN complex
The Israeli ultra -nationalists gathered Monday in Jerusalem for an annual procession that marks the conquest of Israel of Israel in the eastern sector of the city. Some protesters sang “death to the Arabs” and harassed the Palestinian residents.
Police watched closely while the protesters jumped, danced and sang. The event threatened to inflame tensions that abound in the beginning of the beginning in the middle of almost 600 days of war in Gaza.
Hours before, a small group of protesters, including an Israeli member of Parliament, assaulted a compound in Jerusalem that belongs to the UN Agency for Palestinian refugees, which Israel has banned. The complex has a leg of most empty since January, when the personnel were asked to remain away for security reasons. The UN says that the complex is protected by international law.
