I can’t buy love.

Adam Levine has revealed that Paul McCartney once apologized for “insulting him” after Maroon 5 covered two Beatles songs.

The “Payphone” singer, 46, opened about the “The Howard Stern Show” on Wednesday. The initial encounter took place in 2014 after Maroon 5 covered “Ticket to Ride” and “All My Loving” The Cbs Special “the night that changed to the United States: a Grammy greeting to the beatles” with McCartney and Ringo Starr at the audience.

“Listen, man. I told him that you have scared a handful of F – times in my life, which was definitely one of them,” Levine recalled. “I was like,” Holy s – t. “I mean, I’m sorry, man is too great, but not always.

Levine added that McCartney, 82, did so aside after Maroon 5’s performance to let him know that the Beatles “did better.”

“Paul kindly or touched me nearby and hey,” you know, we did better, “said the” maps. “Singer and I thought it was a lot of fun. I laugh and thought: “No, you’re not Paul McCartney.”

It was not until a few months later, the duration of a party that Levine attended with her wife, Beesi Prinsloo, who Macca apologized for “insulting” the Maroon leader 5.

“He is like,” Hey, I just wanted to let you know if it was fine … I have bone thinking about this. I wanted to insult you or anything, “Levine recalled.” It was something like that, like, if I insulted you, I apologize. And I was like, “Oh my God. You’re fine. Friend, you’re Paul F – Rey McCartney.”

The singer “she will be loved” said that the apology of the music legend “destroyed” her notion of “your heroes are who they are.”

“It was destroyed, in an excellent way, all about your heroes that are,” Levine explained. “It is a human being with a heartbeat and a really beautiful soul that was actually reflective enough to take that in mind that perhaps for some reason my feelings could have been injured, but of course they were not.”

The funny story of Levine about McCartney came a few days after the “The Voice” coach announced that Maroon 5 is working on his first new album from the 2021 album, “Jordi”.

The band is also scheduled to reach the road again for a new tour in the fall.

“There is a single at the end of the months. I’m really excited about that,” Levine announced in “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday night.

“An album comes during the summer. Not specific around summer time. And then, even more non -specific, there is a tour in the autumn scene.”

As for McCartney, he and his former Beatles bandmates will be the subjects of next four biopics led by Sam Mendes.

While Paul Mescal will play Macca on the big screen, Harrison Dickinson is signed in John Lennon’s game, Barry Keoghan Will as Ringo Starr and Joseph Quinn will play George Harrison.
