Oakland – Two men and a minor face charges for serious crimes in relation to a robbery and shots last week in the Montclair district of Oakland, prosecutors said.
The alleged crime occurred around 9:10 am of April 2 in the 1900 block of Cortereal Avenue.
Kelvin Davis, 19, is accused of robbery, assault with a firearm that causes large body injuries, possession of a machine gun, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a stolen car, lawyer district of agreement. Davis has a previous attack for theft that improves his possible prayer.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was shot three times, prosecutors said. It was the last time it appeared in critical but stable conditions.
Keyjuanne McGhee, 21, is also accused of robbery, possession of a machine gun and possession of a stolen car, in addition to being armed with a firearm in the course of a robbery, according to the Office of the District Prosecutor.
If he is convicted, Davis faces more than 40 years of life imprisonment and McGee faces more than 7 years.
Prosecutors said a minor was also arrested as co-participant in the alleged crime and accused of crimes related to theft. The Alameda County Youth Center is supervising its case.
Davis and McGhee will be scheduled on Friday at the Wiley Manuel Justice Palace in Oakland.
