Tesla has resolved a demand for racial discrimination by a black employee who claimed a manager at his Fremont plant, California, sometimes he greeted the workers by saying “welcome to the plantation” or “Welcome to the house of slaves.”
Raina Pierce, who installed pestillos on the car doors, and the car manufacturer led by billionaire Elon Musk agreed to an agreement proposes by a mediator, according to a joint presentation on Thursday in the Federal Court of San Francisco.
The terms were not revealed, and both parties are ending a conciliation agreement, according to the presentation.

Pierce and Tesla’s lawyers did not immediately respond to comments requests. The musk is not a defendant.
Pierce said she underwent generalized harassment, including a common racial insult that said she was scribbled through the plant, including bathrooms and a gender -based insult.

Pierce’s complaint quotes a Tesla employee who temporarily joined his production line and said: “Madam must go to HR because these potential clients say things about you that are not well.”
Tesla has faced other accusations of racial discrimination and harassment at the Fremont plant.
A plaintiff, the Owen Díaz elevator operator, was established in March 2024 for terms not revealed after a jury verdict of $ 3.2 million. Another jury had granted Díaz $ 137 million in 2021, but the case was retro, after rejected a lower sum proposed by the judge.
