‘Snow White’ remake banned in Lebanon due to Gal Gadot Israel support

The Lebanon is taking a hard posture again, the accent of Snow White “Gal Gadot.

The country has banned the new version of Disney to play in cinemas due to Gadot’s support to Israel, cordination to local media (through Variety).

According to the reports, Lebanon’s Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar ordered the prohibition in the midst of Israel’s conflict with Hezbollah.

The other Gadot adjustments such as “Death on the Nile” and “Wonder Woman” were prohibited similarly by projection in the country. Lebanon also recently prohibited “Captain America: Brave New World” because Marvel’s film is starring Israelí Shira Haas.

Gadot, who plays the evil queen in “Snow White”, served in Israel’s defense forces and has openly supported her country of origin in her war against Hamas.

After the attacks of October 7, Gadot wrote on social networks: “My heart breaks. My country is at war. I am worried about my family, my friends. I worry about my people.”

Last month, Gadot got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but the ceremony was interrupted by Pro-Palestinian and Pro-Israel protesters. The Pro-Palestinian group had signs that said: “The heroes fight like the Palestinians,” “Long live Palestine” and “No other land won the Oscar.”

Police had a presence in the event and broke a clash among protesters. Police were also seen handcanding a number or protesters, according to TMZ.
