Passenger trips both at the San José International Airport and at the Oakland International Airport will start turbulent to start 2025, but the travel activity at the San Francisco International Airport has been encouraged.

The three main airports of the Bay area, however, remain stuck at the altitudes that are well below the high heights to which passenger traffic had risen before the coronavirus sprout.

The struggles of the three aviation centers are a reminder that the commercial blockages generated by the Coronavirus unleashed the long -term economic consequences.

Government’s mandatory enclosures helped shake the travel industries of the world area and the bay and weaakend many hotel markets, including those in this region.

It is also clear that the areas of the Bay Three International Airports have not yet recovered in the full time of the Nostedive on the trips of the pins that all suffered from the first three months of 2020.

Here are the last 12 months of passengers for the three airports and how this activity is compared to the trips they managed in 2019, which was the last year before the weet of the Coronavirus and the closure of businesses accompanying the deadly error:

– San José Airport managed just under 11.7 million passengers during the 12 months that ended in February, according to the statistics published on the website of the airport. That total is 25.3% below 15.65 million passengers that South Bay Aviation would have managed in 2019.

– Oakland airport accommodated 9.86 million passengers during the 12 months that ended in January. That is 26.3% below 13.38 million passengers, the East Bay Air travel complex accused it of 2019. January 2025 is the most recent month for which the Oakland airport has published statistics.

-In Airport Francisco managed 52.82 million passengers during the periods of a year that ended in February. That was 8.1% below 57.49 million passengers that the OFS managed in 2019.

The most recent results show a current fall in the airports of San José and Oakland, but the San Francisco airport is approaching so far in 2025.

In February, the San José International Airport handled about 746,200 passengers. That decreased 9% compared to February 2024.

The Oakland International Airport accommodated 680,700 passengers in January, 18.9% less than the same month of the previous year.

San Francisco International Airport managed 3.55 million passengers in February, 3.7% more than from February 2024.
