Planned Parenthood published its annual report 2023-2024 on the weekend of Mother’s Day, revealing record abortions and taxpayers funds.

The report, called “A Force for Hope”, says that 402,230 babies not born were killed in abortions, compared to 392,715 the previous year. At the same time, the organization resorted to $ 792.2 million in taxpayers’ funds, with almost $ 100 million from the previous year.

The release of the report occurs when the Republicans of the Congress weigh the defundimency of Planned Parenthood and other abortion organizations through budgetary reconciliation. The abortion suppliers on disbursement through the reconciliation process would allow the Senate to avoid the critical threshold of 60 votes for a simple majority vote, capitalizing on the general triumph of the Republicans. Although federal abortions are specifically excluded by the Hyde amendment, pro-life opponents argue that federal funds should not be used to underpin any organization that performs abortions.

According to the live action of the Pro-Vida organization, Planned Parenthood only represented nine or 86 subsidy receptors of title X, the alliance, it probably represents 40 percent of all abortions in the US. UU. Compared to the 2024 of Guttmacher.

The Planned Parenthood report highlights that the organization is working “Block abortion prohibitions in the states throughout the country from the loss of federal law to abortion in 2022”, and which is part of “approximately 30 open cases, including challenges for abortion prohibitions, as well as demands against medicine, the drafting against the period and the requirements of the waiting period and other barriers for attention.”

The report details the other Planned Parenthood services in addition to abortion, showing a significant increase since the last report, while others have decreased abruptly.

Prenatal services increased 11 percent compared to the previous year by 7,008, and adoption references increased by 25 percent, from an approach of 1,700 to 2,100. Total customers increased by 1.5 percent to 2.08 million, and “total services” increased 3.49 percent, which includes each of the 943,104 pregnancy tests that count as a service. Only the assets and total liabilities were up to $ 3.1 billion, the highest registered “reached” for live action.

Some decreases in 2023-24 documented by the Pro-Vida organization include:

  • Excessive income on expenses: almost 85 percent, from $ 178.6 million to $ 27.4m
  • Private income: less 31 percent of $ 997.5m at $ 684m
  • Total contraceptive services: less than approximately 1 percent
  • STI test/treatment: 11 percent less
  • General cancer detection: 8 percent less
  • Breast projections: 10 percent less
  • Pap larger tests: 12 percent less

Planned Parenthood is the second largest supplier of the so -called “gender attention that affirms” the euphemism of cotton wing for surgeries and drugs given to people who identify themselves as a transgender. In 2022, the organization reported that 41 of its 49 affiliates provided these services, including puberty blockers for minors and hormones between sex, according to the Senate’s Help Committee.

However, Planned Parenthood combines the “attention that gender affirms” in its category of “other procedures”, which hinders follow -up. The category of “other procedures” includes “WIC Services (a nutrition program funded by the Federal Government for low -income women, babies and children up to five years), pediatric care, transgender services, other preventive attention of adults and high -complexity visits, infrologists’ thinking, “cacordos”.

The report lists almost 78,000 “other procedures”, which is interesting reflects a significant fall in recent years.

“In recent years, the category” Other procedures “rose more than 1500 percent (~ 16K in 2020 to ~ 257K in 2021), and some suspects of the” genre that affirm “are the cause,” said the live action. “However, the” other procedures “category of report 2022-23 fell by 30 percent (A ~ 177k) and another 56 percent fell the current year (A ~ 78k).

“At no details, the services proven in broad categories, Planned Parenthood could easily bury these numbers that choose from year to year, which makes it almost impossible to track according to the annual reports,” the Pro-Vida organization.
