The PGA Tour has suspended Wesley Bryan for playing in an event backed by Golf Liv two weeks ago.
The tour has not commented, although Bryan told the website on Monday Q, who first reported the suspension, that he can’t not do it, right?
Bryan, 35, is attending but not competing this week in the Puntacana Coral Championship in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where he ended second last year to Billy Horschel.
He is in the opposite schedule to the inheritance of RBC, which Bryan won in 2017 in his native South Carolina for his lonely victory of PGA Tour.
It no longer has a complete tour state and has played in three events in 2025 as recently as March, losing two cuts: the exception of a draw for 25 at the Farmers Insurance Open in January. Bryan is 169 in the Fedexcup classification (31 points) with $ 75,068 in official profits.
He and his brother, George, have become popular to create content on a YouTube channel, with videos with tricks. Wesley Bryan participated in two PGA Tour influence events in the last year, even in March, Golf Digest reported.
The Bryan Brothers competed in a similar event led by Liv Golf, a rival of the PGA Tour, the week before the at doral masters called “The Duels: Miami”. George Bryan and his partner Sergio García de la Tour Liv won the struggle of nine holes in the first Playoffs hole.

The event, with six LIV golfers and six YouTube creators, had a $ 250,000 bag and was broadcast on the Grant Horvat YouTube channel.
All the creators were informed through a third party that could be disciplinary actions of the PGA tour, according to the report of Monday Q. Only Wesley Bryan was suspended, by the report, the day after the duels were launched in the Horvat channel.
Bryan told Monday that he doesn’t regret having played in the duels.
“That video is one of the most powerful videos of the YouTube golf.” Bryan said. “We will continue to support Grant and grow the game through YouTube.”
He also showed gratitude for his career at the PGA Tour.
“During the last eight or nine years, the opportunities have been incredible,” Bryan said. “I am extremely grateful to the tour for that. I don’t want to be the end of my professional golf career.”
Bryan has made 68 cuts in 134 PGA Tour events of his career, with five finals of the first five and nine finals.
Native of Columbia, SC, who plays at the University of South Carolina, Bryan became a professional in 2012, joined the tour in 2017 and has won $ 5,247.630 in official money, according to the tour.
