The beer sales of the Special Model owner, Constellation Brands, are receiving a blow as the demand for Hispanic populations in key states decreases amid Trump’s repression against immigration, they said on Thursday executives of the company.

President Trump has injected a wide office of retreat of immigration repression in January, which increases the pressures of Hispanic consumers charged by the highest prices of food and other essential elements such as high unemployment rates.

The brand has enjoyed great popularity in recent years, reaching Bud Light as the best -selling beer brand in the United States in 2023.

However, the impulse is now decreasing, with Constellation pointing out a considerable demand drop in its main states of sales and postal codes with larger Hispanic populations.

After the closure of the markets on Wednesday, the brewery projected a smaller and most expected annual annual gain, waiting for steep tariffs to weigh in their business.

Latin clients, who represent approximately half or model customers, have removed social meetings, a key occasion for beer consumption, according to the CEO of Constellation Brands, Bill Newlands.

“The efforts to go to restaurants, to have social meetings, things that are many occasions in beer, have softened in the most recent term,” said their gain gain call.

Constellation Brands beers enjoy the highest level of loyalty among Hispanic consumers in relation to any other important beer supplier in the United States, the company said in its prepared comments.

Newlands said the company’s research also found that Hispanic consumers were under the pressure of job loss in industries with a high Latin employment base.

“We believe that the rapid change in the tone/perspective at least partial reflects the probable reality that the company was a benefit in the last years of the loose immigration policy,” said JPMorgan analyst Andrea Teixeira, in a note.
