Mel Kiper Has Epic Meltdown After Shedeur Sanders Gets Drafted Late

One would think that after spending two and a half days demanding that Shoreeur Sanders be recruited, the draft analyst Espn Mel Kiper Jr. would be happy once Sanders was recruited.

But that is not the case.

Kiper, who shouted in the cameras and his fellow hosts in the unbridled anger that Shoreeur Sanders had fallen from the first four rounds, did not find comfort in the Browns who used the 144th general selection to take a change over the young man.

Instead, he kept his most vitriica diatribe for the end, when he criticized the NFL, calling them “clueless” about the writing of field marshal.

Kiper asked Coanfrerion Louis Riddick why Sanders had no leg tasks before.

“It’s not about,” can you play the post? “This is” do we want you to play the position for us? “, Tried to explain Riddick.

“Why wouldn’t they?” Kiper shot back.

“That is a complete discussion” that we have had in many different ways during week and months. “

Kiper replied: “Isn’t it one of the toughest field marshals you’ve seen?”

Receive Davis tried to intervene and provide a voice of reason.

“That is the key, Mel. It is not a value judgment on who spent correctly or incorrect. They did,” Davis said. “If you like them, whether you don’t like them, they are fair or if they are unfair, you may have to deal with them.”

He received that adversity put Sanders in a good position to demonstrate his value to the league. This argument did nothing to calm Kiper, who doubled by insisting that the league had no idea how to evaluate field marshals.

“The NFL has had no idea for 50 years when it comes to evaluating quartbacks!” Kiper replied. “You have no idea! They have no idea what they are doing in terms of evaluating Quarterbacks, there is evidence of that!”

Kiper added: “The NFL understands it, they know everything. No, they don’t!”

It is important to keep in mind that Kiper himself has made some mistakes in his Quarterback evaluation over the years.

In 2010, Kiper promised to retire if Notre Dame Qb Jimmy Clausen did not have a successful career in the NFL. Spoiler alert: hey no. In 2007, Kiper compared the notorious draft Bust Jamarcus Russell with John Elway and said he could be a field marshal of the top five. Russell ate the league in a very short time.

Kiper also said that Ricky Stanzi would have the best QB career in the 2011 Draft class. That didn’t happen either.
