A meeting of the School Board in the capital city of Maine de Augusta on Wednesday night presented a controversial interaction between a father with a “Maga” hat and the president of the School Board on the State’s dispute on the inclusion of trans athletes in girls’ sports.

The president of the Board of the School of Augusta, Martha Witham, cut the local parents Nick Blanchard while discussing the controversial issue and a petition he launched so that the director of the Intermediate and Secondary School of Cony Kim Liscomb retired from his position, as seen in the images of the meeting.

Liscomb is currently the president of the Association of Directors of Maine (MPA), which supports the participation of transgender athletes in school sports based on gender identity and has been a issue of scrutiny of the administration of President Donald Trump on the subject.

Blanchard, who appeared to the meeting with a “Maga” hat and a shirt or government. Janet Mills that reads: “You are fired”, his speech praising the six of the seven members of the Board who voted to adopt the 2020 interpretation of title IX that did not allow Park athletes to compete as girls.

Blanchard also condemned the member of the Board that voted against, which caused Witham’s first interruption.

“Good job and thanks to the six members who voted to go to the 2020 interpretation of Title IX, and the shame for the only member of the Board that voted,” Blanchard began.

Witham then interrupted him, saying: “I’m sorry, but negative comments will not be allowed.”

Blanchard then prosecuted to discuss his request so that Lisccom has eliminated.

“This request is asking … if you, the members of the School Board, will make a vote,” Begen Blanchard before Witham was cut again.

Witham told Blanchard that his statements “would not be tolerated” and warned him that he would be asked to renounce the podium if he continues to make “defamatory comments.”

When Blanchard asked how his comments were “defamatory”, Witham replied saying “I don’t have to explain.”

“These comments will not be tolerated at the meeting directed towards us or no one else in this room,” Witham said.

Blanchard then agreed to process with his speech without referring to Lícomb by name.

“Then, as you should know, someone who is the president of the association of the director of Maine,” Begen Begen before being interrupted by Witham for the last time.

“No, close enough. Sorry, you finished, Mr. Blanchard,” said Witham, out of the podium.

When Blanchard left, he shouted “Communist China here!”

Fox News Digital has communicated with Augusta’s schools to comment.

The legislator of the state of Maine, Lauren Libby, highlighted a transgender athlete who won a female pole jumping championship for more than a year after drawing for fifth place in the children’s competition.

Currently, Maine is considered the zero zone in the national debate on trans inclusion in girls and women’s sports, since multiple federal agencies have promoted pressure on the State since February to amend their current policies that allow trans inclusion.

The United States Department of Agriculture froze the funds for the State last week, and the Department of Health and Human Services has already referred to the Department of Education of Maine, MPA and Grelyly High School to the Department of Justice.

Friday is the deadline for the State to amend its current policies or face another derivation to the Department of Justice by the United States Department of Education.
