The smell bait of fish containing the rabies vaccine will spread around the outdoor recreation areas in Nassau County, while officials try to eliminate an increase in cases between the Racons on Long Island.

The areas, which will have the “baits of oral rabies vaccines” thrown from a government movement of slow movement between April 21 and May 2, include Massequa, Farmingdale, Bethpage, Roslyn, Garden, Elmont and Valley Stream, he said.

The popular outdoor leisure premises such as Massequa Preserve, Bethpage State Park and the spacious lands of the Nassau County Museum of County Art are included in the target areas, according to a county map.

The bait will receive a fish aroma to attract the Mapaches, according to Nassau County officials, who said the vaccines will be locked in transparent bags “that resembles a quick -style fast -style ketchup package.”

The containment effort occurs shortly after a fourth Mapache in Amyville, which limits Massaqua in Suffolk County, positive for rabies on April 11.

“We are very concerned that the rage is spreading along our western border,” said Dr. Gregson Pigott, commissioner of the Suffolk County Health Department.

“We are exploring options to further reduce propagation, including the deployment of the oral rabies vaccine for the population of Mapache.”

It is enough to keep children and pets away from bait.

Nassau County officials reported that if the bait is near a house or area where children play, adults must kick the bag more deeply towards a covered area.
