Cassidy, 26, detailed his last talk at his late boyfriend during an emotional appearance in the “on purpose” podcast of Jay Shetty published on Wednesday, April 16.

Cassidy was in Argentina with Payne before on the trip, but left only two days before his sudden death to return home in Florida. The couple had been together for almost two years, according to Us Weekly.

“When I think on the last day and the last word we told ourselves, it brings me this mixture of pain and peace,” Cassidy said. “It gives me pain because I still can’t live that day, the day I left Argentina, was the last day I could touch Liam, hug Liam, talk to him and be in the same room as him.”

“But peace brings me because it was a last moment so beautiful that we had together,” he continued. “On our last day, we woke up, we had an incredible breakfast, we were in the field, we got used to riding a horse. Later I had a flight.”

“I remember sitting there with him,” he continued, “and he continued and continued and told Liam how much I love him, and he laughed and he interrupted me and he just said: ‘Kate, you’re going to miss your flight. You’re acting as. You’re acting. You’re acting as. We’re going to see me again.” “

And this is where I get that peace from her, which was so sincere, beautiful, I didn’t know, but obviously. Last last.”
