Letitia James dodges questions about mortgage fraud scandal outside NYC home, pretends to be on the phone

New York Attorney General, Letitia James, accumulated journalists outside his home of Fort Greene, Brooklyn on Wednesday, refusing to answer questions about his mortgage fraud scandal over low heat.

James, who now declared that “nobody is above the law” by prosecuting President Trump, pretended to speak on his cell phone while journalists splashed her with questions about her receiving a slapped with a federal refile claiming mortgage.

According to a letter obtained by the position, James supposedly “falsified records” to obtain local loans of love for a property of Virginia, said as his “main residence” in 2023, while still served as prosecutor of the state of New York.

Antote included several documents in the letter that also showed James bought a property in 1983 and 2000-CO signed by his father, but falsely listed the couple as “husband and wife.”

“Mrs. James, for both previous properties, seems to have falsified records to meet certain loan requirements and receive favorable loan terms,” ​​he told Bondi and Blanche.

Antote said this could be equivalent to criminal charges, which include cable fraud, mail fraud, bank fraud and false statements to a financial institution, among others.
