Anjelica Huston, 73, revealed that her ex, Jack Nicholson, 87, called to sacrifice her house to stay while she fled from the forest fires of Los Angeles in January.
“The phone is located out of nowhere, and it was him,” Huston told People in an interview published Thursday.
“It’s always a comfort when he calls … he was heartbreaking and sweet,” the leaf turned on. “I have returned it, several times in my head, and I think that next time I would accept the invitation.”
The actor “The Shining” and the Acres of “Addams Family” were in a relationship for almost twenty years, from 1973 to 1990.

In 1992, after his separation with Nicholson, Huston married the sculptor Robert Graham, who died in 2008 at age 70.

Huston and Nicholson separated after she learned that she generated a boy with Broussard while he was still dating Huston. But, they remain in good terms.
Huston told The Outlet that his friendship with Nicholson is “important.”
But, he added that “life gets on the way” or visits it.
“In addition, for some reason, they have made an endless leg and the road work near their home, so it has been arriving to him for hours, and that is always irritating. I always managed to be late to see him, which is very irritating to him.”
In an interview with The Guardian published in February, Huston explained about his experience of forest fires in Los Angeles, which devastated the area in January.
“I was in a car with three dogs, two cats and the Houskeeper, and he called and asked me if I was fine, and if I had a place where I had left,” he said about Nicholson.
She told him at the exit that he was aware of his infidelity during his relationship.
“He loved him,” said Huston. “I think that in the world I was living in, I was not disrespectful. That’s how it was, and it was very personal.”
Oscar’s winning accent added: “I think as soon as I recorded that, everything was fine, I knew how to protect myself.
Althegh Huston had to evacuate the forest fires of Los Angeles, which devastated thousands of people and claimed celebrity houses such as Anthony Hopkins and Joshua Jackson, his home survived.
“My house almost burned,” said Huston. “It arrived very, very close. My electricity, water and energy are still turned off, but we were safe.”
Huston is still strengthening in his career, since he is in “Agatha Christie’s to Zero”, premiering on April 16 in Britbox.
Nicholson has not appeared in a movie since “How do you know”, and is mostly retired. But, the actor “one on the cuckoo nest” made a rare public appearance in the 50th anniversary “Saturday Night Live” in February.
He sat at the audience and appeared briefly on camera to introduce a sketch of his former co -star of “Anger Management”, Adam Sandler.
Huston told The Guardian about Nicholson: “That is the final result with him and me, when the chips are down, he is there.”
