A driver on the busy Northern Expressway highway from Adelaide has captured the crazy moment that a passenger took out the legs from a car traveling about 60 mph.
The images of the incident obtained by 7News show the entire leg of a person, to the thigh, hanging from the rear window of a Burgundy 4WD with P plates.
The bicycle person kicks his legs, and at one point, he stops them straight, with his feet dangerously approaching the next lane.
The South Australia police are investigating the matter and said in a statement: “The police are currently in possession of a video that shows the legs of a protruding passenger from the window of a moving vehicle.
“Such reckless behavior is unacceptable, which raises significant risks not only for the individual involved but also for other motorists.
“Dashcam’s images are submitted to the police, and motorists must take into account that dangerous driving is frequently captured on video, largely increasing probability or being caht.”
The Northern highway is a relatively new section of the road that crosses the suburbs of northern Adelaide and has a maximum speed limit of 68 mph.
