Hochul is negotiating the details of the 2025-2026 Financial Plan with the leader of the majority of the Senate, Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D-Yonkers) and the speaker of the Carl Heastie Assembly (D-Bronx), who supported the current discovery law prior to the trial.
