The revealing image tasks of the New Mexico authorities give a heartbreaking vision of how Hackman, 95, and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, lived inside their house in Santa Fe Palaciega in their last days.
Some images show clothes thrown on the first footprint, as well as dry cleaning still in bags that hang inside a closet.
Other images showed fruits and vegetables that remained in a counter, a COVID-19 test box and medicines prescribed to Hackman and Arakawa, 65.
Hackman died a few days after his wife followed complications with hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease along with Alzheimer’s advanced disease.
The cause of death of Arakawa voted by a rare pulmonary syndrome and transmitted by rodent disease, authorities said.
