Gayle King finally recognized the criticisms that say he is sanctioning the new “oligarchy” of the United States at the time of Donald Trump by joining the Socialité Lauren Sánchez in one of the Blue origin rockets from Jeff Bezos for a 11 -minute luxury trip on Monday.

Duration an interview on Friday ahead of the controversial flight, King admitted that it was “worrying” to be seen as part of an “announcement” for the multimillionaire founder of Amazon and his striking promised, the Daily Mail reported.

King joins Sánchez, pop star Katy Perry, former Nasa Bowe rocket scientist and two other women on the 11th human flight for the new SHEPARD NS-31 rocket. Sánchez, King and Perry have tried to put a feminist turn on the flight because the crew of women, just effective women are space tourism passengers who won the ship’s pilot, which is complete automated.

Critics say that Bezos and Sánchez made a sample of publicly embrapping the presidency of Donald Trump and appeases their autocratic tendencies by enjoying a prominent place at its inauguration of January 20 with other technological magnates. The prominent journalists have also come after Bezos for their last minute decision to prevent its Editorial Board of the Washington Post from supporting Kamala Harris before the November 5 elections and ordering the editors and writers of their article that move the opinion pages to an address to the right.

“Listen, it’s also worrying for me,” King said, CBS Mornings coanfrerion. “There is one leg some questions and some decisions that (Bezos) have made me really:” Eh? “

King has been criticized for appealing to turn his back on his fellow journalists in the position, some of whom have renounced the newspaper in protest of Bedans’s actions. King’s will to take a seat in the rocket, a trip that could be valued in the six figures, has also raised questions about his journalistic integrity and the news values of CBS News, where journalists who take gifts cannot be supplied.

In the interview with the CBS Mornings colleague, Vlad Duthiers, King Effect took these concerns and tried to justify the “historical” nature of the flight.

“But I think in this particular case, I think this is much bigger than a man and a company,” King said. “I chose to separate the two. It is not a zero sum game.”

“You can do this on the one hand, and this on the other hand. And both can be true,” he said.

Others have hardened vehemently with such an argument, with the opinion writer of the New York Times, Jessica Grose, saying that “the morally empty space trick should be another nail in the famous feminism coffee.” Others have similar to the flight a “public relations trick” on behalf of Bezos, Sánchez and its brands, and torn Elle magazine for presenting Sánchez, King, Perry and the rest of the crew on a recent cover.

“You cannot change the oligarchy as feminism, especially when the information is on our face every day,” said Internet personality and businessman Blakely Neiman Thornton in an internet demolition earlier this month of Elle’s cover. She called the characteristic of “pregnant” magazine for all involved.

“What is lower than Sponcon (sponsored content) for Jeff Bezos Pet Project with rockets?” Thornton continued, directing his comment in Elle magazine for the history of the cover on the flight. “I understand that in the capitalism in the late stage the ruling class is going to buy press, but cannot change the name of its vanity as altruism. It has happened too much.”

Actor Olivia Munn was also buying the female-start of King, Sánchez or Perry. In an interview, he told the presenter of “Today” Jenna Bush Hager that the flight was a waste “excessive” gluttonic resources when regular people in the United States are suffering.

“I know that this is probably unpleasant, but as, it is a lot of money to go to space, and there are many people who cannot afford eggs,” said the actor of “the writing room”, referring to the meaning increase in egg prices in recent months. Munn made his comments when Trump had begun to dump the global economy and the retirement savings of the people by announcing tariffs on most of the United States commercial partners.

When Bush Hager tried to find humor and relativity of the way Perry and Sánchez spoke with Elle how they took the “glamor” on the trip: with makeup extensions and eyelashes: Munn seemed stunned and judged: “What? What did something say?

“What is the point?” Munn asked. “Is it historical for you to take a walk? I think it’s a bit glutton.”
