Incredulous witness witnesses at Florida State University said the armed man shot a rifle for the first time before returning to his Hummer Orange to grab and shoot and shoot a woman.
“I was leaving the union with my food. There is a path to her side and I was walking and this guy stops in orange hair, and goes out with a rifle and shoots in my direction. There were a couple of children near me,” Deteretry of Fsu Thur.
“I think he was shooting and lost. So he returns to his car and grabs a gun, then turns and shoots the lady in front of him. That’s when I start running.”
“When he turned with the gun, I saw him shoot the lady as right in front of him. He was probably like 5 feet in front of him with the gun,” Heeter said.
Heeter thought for the first time that the gunman had a BB gun with him, but said there was no fog what was happening once he opened fire.
She said the suspect looked like a “normal university type”, describing him as a white man with light hair, with an orange shirt and short -colored shorts.
“We were alone and as through other people who noticed at the beginning, but we were walking in the opposite direction far from the union, so we started running. I just told everyone that I could see, get away from the campus,” he told NBC.
“I ran back to my apartment as fast as I could.”
Other students described the chaos of the shooting when the first to respond were hurried to help the injured that mint on the campus, with some stretchers improvising the classroom team in the hurry to obtain the subject to safety.
“I saw them carry out a student in what seemed in a stretcher and kept them on the way until an ambulance could pick them up,” said student Daniella Streety.
“There was also an injured student there and they had to transport them in a desktop to the road and then be transported by ambulance,” he said.
At least one person is dead for the shooting, while six are injured with one in critical condition.
The armed man, who was caught with a gun, while a shotgun was found in his car and another in the union of students where the butcher shop was concentrated, according to CNN, is in custody.
