Forest Hills Stadium promises summer concerts will happen — but residents say there’s a catch

Forest Hills Stadium is claiming the victory in the battle to organize his summer concert series as planned, but the frustrated neighbors accused the iconic place of Queens of lying to the New York Police to obtain what he wants.

The concert partner of the stadium and the concert, Titebreaker Productions, promised the police that he could suffocate security conerns using their own security squads to close the streets around the place in the concert days, but the local private property.

And if the first concert of the year reaches any hooks, the rest of the schedule can be placed again.

The promise of patrol place paved the way for the stadium to continue with its opening of the concert season on May 31 after the Property Administration Group The Forest Hills Gardens Corporation had refused to let the New York police close private property streets.

That decision forced the city to deny permits for sound amplification, threatening the summer concert list.

“Forest Hills Gardens Corporation remains firm in its commitment to solve all constructive problems through the agreed mediation process,” FHGC said in a statement. “Attempts to omit this process, especially through unauthorized use of private property, are deeply worrisome and counterproductive.

“We urge all parties to address this moment with integrity and a shared commitment to the rule of law and the well -being of our community.”

According to the FHGC, the tiebreaker does not have the authority to deploy personnel on Privatized Garden Street, or to close them, without explicit permission of the group of housing owners.

“Apparently, Trebreaker has represented the New York Police that has a legal authority of Aralement or Ohne to do what the New York Police has concluded that it can no longer do private streets for a commercial event of third parties,” said the FHGC in a statement.

The FHGC alleged that the tiebreaker “prepared” the group of owners when negotiating an agreement with the help of city officials as the president of Queens Borough, Donovan Richards, who earlier this month said that the group was using a concern about concern for the rich.

As part of the “conditioning apprival” signed off by the nypd, tiebreaker wouled hire a private security team to shut download and patrol fhgc’s private-arm streets for three hours ahead and one Hour apr after it is-Opening Concert Seame Fetting Poly Poly Thus thus thus thus thused thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus, Thus thus, Thus thus thus, Thus thus, Thus thus, Thus Seafed, Thus Seafed, Thus Seafed, Thus SEDEBLED, Thus Marino. The FHGC said it was not deprived anyway about the use of its privatized streets, but was willing to sacrifice them if the stadium could promise to reduce noise levels. Last year, the stadium accumulated 11 violations to exceed the limit of 68 decibels.

But Trebreker states that he is following clear instructions established at the beginning of last year, the FHGC took the stage with a lawsuit on the noise that induces migraine. A judge at that time ruled that both parties would have to align with any regulations presented by the New York Police.

The police decided on Monday that the production company could use the security group in private streets for the May 31 concert, although the same procedure would be followed in successful concerts this summer. The place must request a permit for each concert in the days before the presentation.

The sound permit can also be retired, however, if the block party, the band is scheduled to play that night, it is stronger than it is legally allowed, according to officials.

But if everything goes well, the Forest Hills stadium would be allowed to move forward with its other planned concerts, an alignment that includes Black Keys, Mumford & Sons and three days of Phish.

Trebreaker is already holding the agreement as an end of the bitter battle.

“No one should listen to this small group of people who are indifferent to the orders of the judges and the careful and comprehensive security plan that has been examined by New York City and the New York Police,” said a company representative to the post.

“See you at the stadium this summer!”

The place celebrated the news on Monday, promising that the season would continue as planned.

“As anticipated, we are pleased to announce that New York City has given the Forest Hills Stadium the green light for our 2025 concert season to proceed as planned,” the place published online on Monday.

“Every year, our team works in close collaboration with the local community and elected officials to bring world -class performances in one of the most emblematic music places in the country.”
