The eyebrows rose when the ex -scandalous exes and former co -star of “Smash” Debra Brass and Will Chase seemed to be avoided on the opening night of Broadway musical based on the successful television program.
A source indicated precisely that Brass and Chase, who were married to other people when they were on the set in 2011, posed with other members of the cast on the red carpet, but were not photographed together.
They are still seen by interacting through the event either, says a spy.
But a source insists that the lost connection occurred only because they reach different moments and that it was not intentional. “No one knew when anyone came,” says a source.
And according to another source, the old flames managed to catch up in the text.
“When I got home, Debra received a text message from Will and talked about the event,” says a source, who tells us that Brass didn’t even know he was there.
The former couple, who left for two and a half years, caused a great uproar when they started out.
Messing announced on December 20, 2011 that she and her 10 -year -old husband, television producer Daniel Zelman, had divided earlier that year.
Shortly after the announcement, he was seen with Chase, who played his ex -boyfriend in the program.
Chase had recently separated with his wife, Acress Stephanie Gibson.
Brass and persecution dated until 2014.
“Debra Messing and Will Chase have ended their relationship of two and a half years, but they are still close friends,” said a representative at that time.
Chase then continued with singer Ingrid Michaelson. They are still together.
