Mayor Adams interrupted his trip to the Dominican Republic on Saturday and returned to the big block to meet with the family of the tragic helicopter accident this week at the Hudson River.
The mayor, who ordered flags in the town hall and others, owned by the city, built on Saturday in response to the tragic collapse of this week’s roof in a Santo Domingo nightclub that left at least 221 dead people, it was also expected to take a boat.
“We sympathized with our Dominican community,” Mayor Adams advances on X regarding the decision to recognize the tragedy of the Dominican Republic going down the flags. “Continuously to cry to the more than 200 people killed in the tragic collapse of the ceiling in the Dominican Republic.”
The flags will remain down over the weekend.

Adams returned from the Dominican Republic on Saturday after a letter visiting there with the New York Transportation Commissioner, Yanis Rodríguez, who is Dominican, to respect the incident on Tuesday.
