An abused survivor of the tragic collapse of the roof in a nightclub in the Dominican Republic that killed 225 party attending the party reported the horror of being buried under the rubble and corpses for almost six hours.

Patricia Ovalles said from her hospital bed that Shehow managed to get out of a frantic call to her ex in New York City while she was still buried alive, convinced that she would not survive the order, she told Univision.

“I heard a cell phone from another person, but I was dead,” Ovalles said. “He had his hand over me, and he was dead because he had the light [from the phone] On his face

“I looked and found the phone and called New York, and told my son’s father:” Please protect my son. Don’t tell him anything. Protects my son, protects my father, protects my mother, “he recalled.” I don’t do it because God to let me leave that because my son was dead.

“There were so many people asking for help.” Help me, help me. “And dead people on top of me.”

Ovalles recalled the water that had rained on the dance floor before the roof collapsed and the heartbreaking moment when singer Rubby Pérez began to sing a song to his daughter, moments before the tragedy.

Start when the dust was the roof finger, he told The Outlet.

“I kept looking, but Rubby Pérez said:” It’s sand “and he covered his face,” Ovalles said. “His daughter said:” Daddy, come on. “He said:” No, I’m going to continue. “The song was for what I was going to sing for her.

“It was too fast,” he said. “Everything was destroyed. Everything. Many people,” Help me, I’m here. “

The tragedy in the Jet Set nightclub surprised the Caribbean nation, leaving at least 225 dead, including Pérez, a popular artist and former main players Tony Blanco and Octavio Dotel, a former New York with Wintles.

Nelsy Cruz, the governor of the province of Montecristi and the sister of former Major Leagues Nelson Cruz, was also murdered.

Ovalles said the dead were around him while laying trapped under a column as wide as his hospital bed, until rescue workers finally arrived early the next morning.

“[One rescuer] He took his coat and threw it to me, “he said.” He said: “You were born today. This is your appointment.” His tears fell on me.

“They told me,” you survived. ” Thank God.
