Austin Metcalf’s father, 17, crashed a press conference held by the family of the murderer accused of his son before they finally gave him the boot by the Dallas Police on Thursday.
Jeff Metcalf, whose son was stabbed until death after he and Karmelo Anthony, 17, had an argument at a cold song meeting earlier this month, released their presence to eliminate the event and lead to Sharp.
“The father who is at this press conference … is a disrespect for his son’s dignity,” said Dominique Alexander, the leader of a local activist group, before Anthony’s parents broke silent for the first time.
“That was disrespectful and only shows you the entire character: he was not invited, he knows that it is inappropriate to be close to this family, but he did,” the president of the next -generation action network added the press conference, which was broadcast by Fox 4.
Moments before, Dallas police escort Jeff Metcalf from the facilities, according to the reports.
A video showed some officers stopped around the afflicted father when he left without incident. According to the reports, he did not tell the media of his appearance of letter.
Anthony faces a first -degree murder position after the police said he gave Metcalf fatally, a soccer star and athletics, and let him die in the arms of his twin brother in the Atlético event on April 2.
The fatal confrontation in the Brisco Memorial High School begged when Metcalf asked Anthony to move from the tent store of his school a rain delay, according to a police report.
Anthony was in custody until this week after his bond was reduced and released, but placed him under the trial of the house.
His mother, Kala Hayes, said his family is “under attack” the press conference.
“What you think happened between Karmelo and the Metcalf Boys, my three youngest children, my husband and I did anything to deserve to be threatened, harassed and songs about,” she said in comments prepared with her husband by band.
“The lies and the false accusations that have told us, especially about last week, have been too desired,” said Hayes, claiming that he has put his family in danger.
At one point, Hayes opened with emotion and spoke through tears.
The high profile murder has inflated racial tensions because the Metcalf was white and Anthony is black.
Anthony said he stabbed Metcalf in self -defense.
Duration The argument, Anthony supposedly told Metcalf that “touch and see what happens”, before the witnesses saw the victim grab or push Anthony, causing the stabbing, according to a police report obtained by the news of Dallas.
“I don’t know why we are attacked and discriminated before a fair trial,” said Hayes while expressing condolences to the Metcalf family.
“Our son deserved the same rights under the law given to everyone.”
