David Schwimmer, George Stephanopoulos, Nicola Peltz, Barbara Corcoran, Scooter Braun, Sheryl Sandberg, Chelsea Handler, Julius Erding and Josh Peck posed with survivors for the project.

The “Step Up” star, Jenna Dewan, was paired with laughter Igelfeld, who witnessed the destruction based by the first -hand Nazis when they invaded Vienna, Austria, in 1938.

Jenna Dewan tells the six meetings that laugh Igelfeld was a “humiliating” experience. Bryce Thompson

Igelfeld survived because a soldier proposed it on a Nazi plot to assault her. She escaped England with the help of a former teacher, who had previously fled, who helped her secure a visa.

Dewan tells Page Six: “It is really an incredible and humiliating opportunity to be part of such a surprising moment in honor of the resilience and courage of these incredible true survivors. Knowing and listening to the story of laughter changed my life.”

“The funniest part [of the project] He was dancing together and listening to laughter, “Dewan tells us.” The most challenging thing was to listen to the first -hand story of the true horrors of our history that laughs exceeded the duration of the holocaust. “

The exhibition will have portraits, testimonies of survivors and interactive elements aimed at educating the public about the Holocaust.

According to an ADL survey, “20 percent of respondents worldwide have not heard the holocaust. Less than half (48 percent) recognizes the historical precision of the Holocaust, which falls to 39 percent among young people aged 18 to 34 years.”

The impressions of the exhibition will be auctioned and Thompson also has a coffee book with the images. PROEDS will benefit the self -help, which provides services and assistance to the living survivors of the Holocaust in New York and in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
