Cause of Hudson River helicopter crash will take ‘quite some time’ to determine, NTSB says, revealing rotors still missing

A preliminary cause in the horrible helicopter accident of the Hudson River will probably take “enough time”, said a senior federal security official on Friday, since he revealed that the rotors of the condemned crafts are still missing.

A research team of 17 people has begun the laborious task of rebuilding what led to the tourist helicopter of New York City to separate on Thursday in the air before crashing against water, killing six, Jennifer’s national security said.

Homanendy said there is nothing outside the table, since researchers will combine through the pilot’s experience, the company that makes the tourist tours and still complete remains.

“We don’t have a preliminary cause, which has been,” he said.

“We will not speculate on the cause, never, but we will not determine any preliminary or probable cause in the scene of an accident.”

The Bell 206L4 helicopter has been bleeding from the Hudson River, but NYPT divers are still combing the depths for several missing pieces of the ship, said Homendy.

“We are looking for the main rotor and the tail rotor at this time,” he said, and pointed out that the main transmission has not recovered either.

The NTSB has raised Conerns about tourist helicopters, even in New York City, in the past, Homendy pointed out.
