The governor of California, Gavin Newsom, announced Wednesday that he is demanding President Donald Trump for his radical tariffs, claiming that the taxes are “causing chaos” in the state of Gold, which has the largest economy in the United States.
The lawsuit will argue that the use of Trump of the International Emergency Emergency Powers Law to impose Herks in Mexico, Canada and China, and a 10% tariff above all imports, is very Anawul.
The lawsuit will also argue that and acting such tariffs requires the approval of the Congress, said the Newsom office.
According to Newsom, the current duties have cost billions of dollars in damages in California, which is also the fifth largest economy in the world.
“President Trump’s illegal rates are causing chaos in families, companies and our California economy, which increases prices and threatening jobs,” said Newsom in a statement. “We are defending US families who cannot afford to let chaos continue.”
