Anna Kendrick sprouted her co -star from “Another simple favor” Blake Lively after they aspired to the SXSW premiere of the film.
The actresses posed for photos together in a photocall in London on Tuesday.
For the promotional event at the Corinthia London Hotel, Kendrick, 39, combined a bright red vest with a shiny matching skirt and pumps. The hair was designed in bulky waves.
Meanwhile, Lively, 37, has a black cardigan with golden ornaments, black skirt, socks and boots to the knee. She also wore loose waves, which was tied with preppy accessories.
The duo smiled as they hit several poses in front of the London Eye. At one point, photographers caught women having a seemingly cheerful conversation.
Later they joined other cast members and the team for some group shots.
The apparently friendly exchange occurs a little more than a month after Kendrick shaded Lively on SxSW.
When a red carpet reporter at the event asked Kendrick how he felt about meeting with Lively for the sequel to simple favor “of 2018, the first showed an uncomfortable smile and said:” Oh, you know … “while moving away.
On the contrary, when the latter asked the same question, he said he was “the best” and that he was “so happy.”
The couple seemed cordial while taking photos with director Paul Feig and others, but did not take solo photos.
They also sat apart from the screening of films.
Lively is in the midst of a very public and polia legal battle with his co -star and director of “STIs with us”, Justin Baldoni, and fans seem to think that Kendrick is on Baldoni’s side.
While presenting the prize for the best director at the Bafta 2025 Awards in February, the star tok “Pitch Perfect” a time to praise the directors. (Baldoni was not nominated, and she did not appoint him).
“We all have great respect for the directors. It is one of the most exciting and exhausting works in the world,” Kendrick told the audience at the meeting full of stars.
“He is juggling with a million decisions, answering endless questions and somehow making sure the story shines.”
In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, claiming that he harassed her sexually on the set of the film and then orchestrated a smear campaign against her, all of which he denied.
The following month, Baldoni filed a demand for defamation and extortion of $ 400 million against the “Gossip Girl” star, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist, Leslie Sloane.
His trial will begin in March 2026.
