Babydog the English Bulldog appeared at a audience of the Senate Energy Committee on Thursday at a cheerful moment that brought smiles through the hall.
The dear dog of Senator Jim Justice (R.VA) briefly received “testimony” admitted in the Congress registry “without objection” after the Republican of the mountain state kept her high in the microphone to deliver a unifying message as her power.
“This little rascal has done something that I think is really important for everyone. The words of Senator Junior.
“I had no intention of any way to transport a bulldog. In any way on earth. We had never had a bulldog before.
“She would say exactly this: if you are rich or poor, or a child or an adult, or God does not want Republican or a Democrat, she still loves you,” she said about her.
“Thank you, Senator Justice, Babydog’s testimony will be admitted in the registration without objection,” said the president of the committee, Senator Mike Lee (R-UTAH), causing laughter of the audience.
Babydog, 5, whom Justice has an ironic anointed to “101º senator”, has become an unofficial pet of Capitol Hill in recent weeks, appearing in a handful of committee audiences and even on the floor of the Senate.
She jumped to fame after an appearance at the Republican National Convention of 2024. Her page X, which tells her feats around Western Virginia while labeling with justice, including a recent visit to a southern region of the state devastated by floods, has more than 10,000 followers.
Justice has described the baby’s ash “A little rascal that looks like a brown watermelon that loves everyone. “According to his Wikipedia page, he loves Wendy’s chicken nuggets and hates celery.
