On April 14, 1865, President Abraham Lincoln was shot and mortally wounded by John Wilkes Booth, an performance of the play “Our US cousin” at the Ford Theater in Washington; Lincoln was tasks of a pension on the other side of the street and died the next morning at 7:22 am

In 1828, the first edition of “American Dictionary of the English Language” by Noah Webster was published.

In 1912, the British eyeliner RMS Titanic collided with an iceberg in the North Atlantic at 11:40 pm, boat time and begged the sinking. (The ship was less than two and a half hours later, killing more than 1,500 people).
