The lioness is where it belongs, finally.

Amanda Nunes, the former UFC champion of two divisions who withdrew from the fight almost two years ago and is considered by many as the MMA female goat, was announced on Saturday night in Miami as the last member of the fame class of the fame of the fame of the fame of fame of fame.

The announcement in the sand, which the transmission team said in the air was a surprise for Nunes, the duration of UFC 314 led to the legend of combat to tears.

The UFC will honor its last income from the Hall of Fame with a ceremony during its 13th annual week of Fight International Fight, on June 26 as T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

“Amanda Nunes is the best fighter of all time,” said the president and executive director of UFC, Dana White, in a statement published by the organization. “Amanda was a great champion who had one of the most legendary races in the history of combat sport. He is an incredible person, and it will be an honor to induce her to the UFC Hall of Fame this summer.”

Nunes (23-5, 17 finishes) will become a member of the modern wing, for those who became professionals after the November 2000 event, when the UFC first adopted the unified rules of MMA.

Uniting Nunes as part of the 2025 class is previously announced to former weight champion Welter Robbie Lawler, creator of the reality series “The Ultimate Fighter” Craig Piligian and the 2019 fight between Israel Adesanya against Kelvin Gastelum.

Nunes, who at the beginning of his career formed in Whippany, NJ, grew from a talented but inconsistent to one of the most dominant forces of the UFC.

The Brazilian won his first championship in 2016, Bliesha Tate, to claim the crown of Gallo weight and raised his profile at the end of the year by putting the star crossover Rousey in just 48 seconds.

Before 2018 left, Nunes became the first woman of the promotion to celebrate two championships simultaneously when she knocked out a legend of Fighting Cris Cyborg in 51 seconds, adding the pen title to her trophies case.

Nunes ran his career to 12 consecutive victories in the UFC, defending the bobships several times along the way, before an impressive defeat of submission to Julianna Peña in 2021 that ended with his career at the top of the Gallo Weight Division.

It was simply an increase in speed, since the rematch of the following year was a matter on the one hand as a result of a victory in the decision over Peña.

Another registered and unequal brand about Irene Aldana in June 2023 was immediately followed by its retirement from the competition.

But the history of Nunes may not have finished, since the signals point to a possible return against the winner of the champion Peña vs. Kayla Harrison, the former gold medista of Olympic Judo and twice champion of the PFL season who was a teammate of Nunes with Nunes with the American team in Florida.

Peña vs. Harrison is scheduled for June 7 at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ
