Aaron Judge is adding another captainy to his curriculum.
The reigning MVP of the American League will serve as captain of the US team. In the World Baseball Classic next year, he announced Monday.
The judge did not participate in the last WBC in 2023, since it was held during the first spring training after signing its nine -year contract and $ 360 million to keep the Yankees, when the first team captain was also appointed since Derek Jeter.
