’56 Ford pickup in Hayward exemplifies its F-Series generation

Ford has been in the truck business for 108 years, but I think it is fair to say that it was not Henry Ford.

According to the reports, Henry saw customers modify their Model T cars to transport loads and ask for a vehicle that can carry more weight. So he had the first construction of Ford trucks nine years after the first Tomplete T. properly called Ford Model TT of 1917, the following truck was the AA model, based on the model A car, and in 1935 Ford introduced the model truck model 50 driven by the famous Ford Flaterhead V8 engine.

These were work trucks and nothing luxurious until around 1940, when an automotive style for a Livian Ford truck was used. After World War II, Ford trucks completed, starting with the first generation of trucks from the F series (1948-1952), but they were also only work trucks.

The 1956 Ford truck was the last year of the second generation (1953-1956) or Ford F series trucks (there have now been 14 generations).
