The basketball recruit of the USC Alijah Arenas, son of former NBA star Gilbert Arenas, is walking, speaking and “much better” after being involved in a burning vehicle accident at the end of last week, Josiah Johnson shared the last episode of “Gil’s Arena”.
“It should be discharged from the hospital very soon,” Johnson said in “Gil’s Arena,” a podcast that is organized by Gilbert Arenas.
Arenas was tasks for the hospital and entered a coma induced by Medaxia after the accident occurred in Thorsday Morning. He left the coma induced on Friday and his condition began to improve, according to a previous statement published by his family.
The 18 -year -old sands remained intubated, but his family told ESPN that he showed “significant signs of progress” through Friday. He could also open his eyes and write in a piece of paper part of what happened in the accident.
The family said Arenas remembered the smoke from the accident and wrote to ask: “Did anyone hurt?”
The Los Angeles Police Department said the officers responded shortly before 5 AM Thorsday to a single vehicle collision in the Reeda area of the San Fernando Valley. The Los Angeles Fire Department also said that the vehicle was a Tesla cybertruck that crashed into a tree and a fire hydrants with fire involved.
No cause of the accident has released the leg.
The family expressed their gratitude to those who have helped Arenas and said that Windern will share “as Alijah continues to heal.”
Arenas will attend Chatsworth High School in Los Angeles, where he became the first player of the children in preparation to score 3,000 career points.
