NBA Hawk-Eye technology changed 2 huge calls in playoffs for the better

The NBA signed an agreement with Hawk-Eye Tracking Technology in March 2023 in an attempt to provide more precision to repeat the revisions. Hawk-Eye had already revolutionized football as the company behind VAR, with the automated goals line and goal line that FIFA adopted FIFA, while replacing line judges in the main tennis tournaments. Technology is now having a similar impact on the NBA playoffs of 2025.

Hawk-Eye was used to make two calls that change the game in the first round of the NBA playoffs on the weekend. On Saturday, it was used to confirm that Aaron Gordon’s game won overturned in game bell 4 of the Denver Nuggets-L Angeles Clippers series actually passed through the network on the network. On Sunday, it was used to cancel a late billing of Anthony Edwards, which was changed to a lack of LeBron James. Edwards sank the following free throws to give the Wolves an advantage of the 3-1 series.

Gordon’s overtown is one of the most notable timbres in the history of the NBA, and it was impossible to know if it should have counted in real time. The Nugget striker caught a Nikola Jokic Airball and hit him on the edge in the bell. Just Jokic seemed skeptical that the shot counted while apparently prepared for overtime. Instead, Hawk-Eye showed that Gordon submerged the ball a millisecond before the regulation bell, allowing nuggets to link the 2-2 series.

Here is the clip of the winning overturning of the Gordon game, including a look at the eye eye view that determined that it was good.

The end of Wolves-Lakers game was almost so dramatic. The angels led by 10 that they intertwine the fourth quarter in a game that must win because they already decreased 2-1 in the series. Minnesota slowly contributed the incredible game of Anthony Edwards, some timely shots of Naz Reid and a devastating defense.

Minnesota rose a point with 10 remaining seconds when Edwards led and was stripped by LeBron. The referees called him Lakers Ball, which seemed obvious enough, but the coach of the Wolves, Chris Finch, challenged the call. It was not the eye eye view that could see that James clearly committed a foul of Edwards at the top of the hand. Edwards sank two free throws, the Wolves won the game after the three seconds of Austin Reaves were lost. Here is a look at the failure and sight of hawk.

In boats, the call on the floor could have been wrong without the help of technology. If these calls are in the other way, it is possible that the clippers are up 3-1 in the Nuggets, and the Kolves are tied 2-2. On the other hand, Nuggets Clippers is tied, while the wolves have a 3-1 advantage over the.

Hawk-Eye tracking technology is designed to capture the movement of the player and the ball in three dimensions in real time. The use of air chambers with vertical shots of works gives officials a new look at what is happening and helps them make more precise calls.

If there is one thing in which sports fans meet, it is that criticisms are annoying for how much they slow down the game. At the same time, it is important that the correct call is made in recent seconds with the game on the line. Hawk-Eye helped NBA get these correct calls.

This Hawk-Eye optical 3D optical technology on Angle played the key role in the winning game of Aaron Gordon, being called Good and the lack of LeBron James, being the call of Anthony Edwards. Wow.

Why did Hawk-Eye not used in the controversial final play of Knicks-Pistons game? Well, the play could not be a challenge because the referees ruled that Josh Hart did not eat Tim Hardaway Jr. on the floor. Of course, the referees admitted that they were wrong after the game. The Pistons should have the Knicks tied in 2-2, but instead, New York returns to Madison Square Garden with an advantage of the 3-1 series.

NBA fans because precise calls. Nor do they want the game to be bogged down by the revisions. For now, Hawk-Eye has a positive addition to the playoffs, and they are legitimately balanced games.
