Okay, so the Earth is warming up, and fast. It’s not a joke. Summers are crazy hot, storms are bad, and winters? Sometimes they don’t even happen. You can feel it.
Scientists have been watching the temperature for a while now, and it’s clear: things are getting hotter. The Earth has warmed by about 2°F (1.1°C) since the late 1800s. Doesn’t seem like a lot, but it’s causing problems. Seas are rising, the weather is acting strange, and nature is getting messed up because the temperature won’t stop rising.
2024? It was the hottest year ever. NASA says average temperatures were 1.47°C warmer than before all the factories. That’s really not good. Crops are drying out, cities are burning, and smoke from wildfires is everywhere.
Plus get this: We’ve already gone over the 1.5°C limit from the Paris Agreement. Some think that from 2025-2029, the planet will stay above that. A few years might almost hit 2°C, this would make climate problems even worse.

This isn’t just about numbers, it’s about people. Farmers have water problems. Families lose their homes to floods. Kids breathe smokey air. And the ice is melting. Coastal cities might disappear.
We can’t delay tackling climate change. It’s here and it’s changing everything. What we do now like reducing pollution, using clean energy, and helping people who are having a hard time will decide if we slow things down.
The science is clear. This is serious. We need to do something, quickly.
