$1.2 Million Homes in Vermont, Arizona and Pennsylvania

Manchester, vt. | $ 1.15 million

A House of the Victorian era of 1890, at 0.4 acres

This five bedroom house and four and a half bathrooms, once an antique store could be used as a residence and commercial space. A bookstore, a Thai restaurant and a 18th century tavern are 10 minutes on foot. A park with a dog without strap, skate facilities and a recreation courtyard is five minutes by car. The parts of the trail path are 15 minutes, and a handful of skiing stations are within 30 minutes.

Albany is an hour and 20 minutes, the Berkshire region of Massachusetts is 90 minutes by car and New York City has been a little more than three hours.

Inside: The steps drive from the front grass to a covered porch, where for a lobby with floral printing paper. The stairs with an original wooden railing rise to the second level, and adjacent to the lobby there is a living room.

On the back of the lobby is the living room, with original carpentry and high windows in front of the rear and lateral yards. The original wooden floors continues in a dining room with its own floral print screen.

In the kitchen, the floors are blue and white and the countertops are a mixture of butcher and stone block. A pantry and a dressing table are just around the corner, and a rear staircase also leads to the second floor. A laundry room and a closed porch are also out of the kitchen.

A bedroom of the first floor, with wide plate of the lobby, is the main suite, which is large enough for a King-Size bed. A full bathroom is attached, and a room, directly outside the lobby, could also serve as a bedroom.

At the top of the stairs, a long corridor links four of the five rooms in the house. A narrower room is attached that could be a nursery or a study, as well as a bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. There is another bedroom and suite at this level, as well as in a shared bath.

Outdoor space: Through the closed porch is the backyard, landscape with grass and shaded by mature trees. An entrance path next to the house leads to a separate garage for two cars and with an uninjured higher level.

Tucson, Ariz. | $ 1.15 million

A Spanish -style house built in 1945, at 0.3 acres

This four bedroom house and three bathrooms is a mile of the main campus of the University of Arizona, its football and its planetarium. A public primary school is less than 10 minutes on foot, as is a public park and a library. An independent movie theater is five minutes by car, just like Whole Foods.

The Tucson center is 10 minutes by car, and the Sabino Canyon recreation area is half an hour. Mount Lemmon, a popular skiing destination, is 90 minutes and arriving at Phoenix takes two hours.

Size: 2,548 square feet

Inside: From the street, a red brick catwalk flanked by a landscape tolerant to drought leads to the main door. Inside there is a lobby where the walls are covered in original wooden panels. On one side of the lobby is the living room, with shelves, a decorative fireplace and wooden beams that cross the roof.

Outside the living room and the lobby there is a long glazed terrace with windows and brick floors oriented to the rear patio that is now used as a family room and dining room. This space faces updated kitchen, which has been polished concrete floors and white quartz countertops. There is a garden window on the sink and the room for a breakfast table.

Three of the four rooms of the house are reached through the glazed terrace, from the same hall. The primary in suite bedroom has a back -oriented window and a recently rounded bathroom with a shower and a floating dressing table. A dressing room separates the bedroom and bathroom.

The rooms on the other side of the corridor large enough for Queen beds, and one has direct access to a full bathroom, also accessible from the lobby. The fourth bedroom, out of the kitchen, has its own full bathroom and an external entrance. A laundry room is also on this side of the house.

Outdoor space: Behind the house, through the kitchen, there is a paved patio with colorful accents of shaded tiles by a wooden pergola. The paths to walk the patio, which could accommodate a pool or a guest house. A separate garage has two parking places.

Philadelphia | $ 1,175 million

A house in row built in 1925 and recently renewed, at 0.02 acres

This four -bedroom house and three and a half bathroom is at a short distance from some of the most busy neighborhoods of Philadelphia. Rittenhouse Square, the Italian market and the Schuylkill river park are approximately a mile away. A patio of recreation and a public primary school are five minutes on foot, and pizza, bagels and local root beer, all 10 minutes on foot.

Station 30 of the street, a center for Amtrak and Regional Rail, is about 20 minutes by bus. The main sports teams in the city play in facilities 15 minutes by car, and the airport is 20 minutes by car.

Inside: The steps lead from the sidewalk to the main door of this house, which open to the living room. The floors here are white oak, and the railing along the ladder continues to the second level and even the basement.

Behind the living room there is a combined kitchen and a dining room. The central island has a rounded edge and the cabinets are made made. Stainless steel appliances include a range with a gas stove. Sliding glass doors face a closed patio. A dressing table with pale pink walls is out of the kitchen.

The second level has two rooms, both with ample space in the closet and with a sliding glass doors that face a Julieta balcony. A bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower is also at this level. The entire third floor is a main suite, with a bedroom, an additional dressing room and an additional room that could be an office or library. The main bath is configured as a large law room, with a double dressing table, a shower and a soaking bathtub. The stairs on the main bedroom lead to the upper floor, where a sunny room with a humid bar has access to the roof cover.

The basement includes a den, another bedroom of Queen size and a full bathroom.

Outdoor space: The roof cover has a view to the horizon, with space for an outdoor room and has a plumbing for a hydromassage bathtub. The patio at the main level, outside the kitchen, could contain a grill and a dining table. Street parking is available through the neighborhood.
