On Saturday night, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, federalized 2,000 soldiers of the California National Guard and deployed them in Los Angeles, with the orders to “temporarily protect” the federal staff of federal immigration and the customscompliance  Governor in the governed measures and members of the local community in Los Angeles during the weekend.

The National Guard troops are members of the United States Army that are under the command of state governors unless it is federalized. They are usually used to help in response to natural disasters, as well as to restore and order from Mintain when the application of the local law is exaggerated. Only in this way, they are more or federalized at the request of the governor due to additional support and money that federal control can contribute. The last time was federalized without the consent of the governor, as is the case today, it was in the 1960s to guarantee compliance with the southern states with federal civil rights protections for black Americans.

Despite the warnings of the governor of California, Gavin Newsom, that federalizing the guard was in this case unnecessary and further inflamed the situation, a warning that proved to be the prescaled driving doubled, mobilizing 2,000 additional soldiers of the National Guard as Wellerdy Marines.
