Ryan Ramczyk calls him a race after eight seasons in the NFL.

The offensive line of the Star Saints announced his retirement through a publication on social networks on Thursday night.

“What an incredible trip is the leg. My way to the NFL was not a straight line, it was the story that most people expected,” Ramczyk published on Instagram. “There were times when people doubted me, moments when I doubted me.

“Today I reflect on all the turns and turns that took me to this point, from the Technical University to become a” welder “for All-Pro on the NFL. As I advance in retirement, I am full of gratitude for everything that this sport has given me.”

Ramczyk, 30, spent the entire NFL career with New Orleans after being recruited by the team in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The right Tackle was named for three consecutive selections All-PRO of 2018-20, winning the honors of the first team for its 2019 season, marking only the second Tackle of the Saints to make a team All-Pro three times.

In each season, he played at least 95 percent of snapshots.

Before being a liner of the All-Big Ten conference in Wisconsin, Ramczyk was a member of the Wisconsin-Stevens Point of Division III, where he obtained consecutive first All-Wiac team honors before transferred to the main campus.

“I owe a giant thanks to the football game and the innumerable coaches and teammates who have supported me and challenged on the way,” Ramczyk continued. “I am especially grateful to UW-Stevens Point for welcoming me with open arms, UW-Madison for risking with a transfer of division III and the Saints of New Orleans for believing in me at the highest level.”

Ramczyk was marginalized for the entire 2024 season of the NFL while fighting multiple knee problems during the year.

The NFL announced Thorsday that Ramczyk will announce the draft teams of the second day of the Saints in Green Bay next week.
