Jakob Ingebrigtsen: “I’m embarrassed to be victim of domestic violence”

The 5000m Olympic champion says that “he has no reason to lie”, since prosecutors ask for a jail and a half term for his father

Jakob Ingebrigtsen told a court in Norway this week that he considers that it is “muddy to be a victim of domestic violence.”

The 24 -year -old retention was talking on the last day of his father’s trial and former coach, Gjart.

Citing the situation of others, he said: “Many children experience similar challenges for those we have talked about. Many have it worse. I sincerely hope that they do not forget when the cameras goes out in the district court.

“I feel a great feeling of relief now that I don’t have to hide anything.

A verdict is expected on June 16.
