The 4x400m male relay team of India, composed of Rince Joseph, Dharmveer Choudhay, Manu Thekkinalil Saji and Mohit Kumar, broke into the final of the 26 Asian athletics championships with their best time for Top55.
The quartet will begin from the five lane in the final scheduled later at night after registering 3: 06.28 seconds.
In the heats, India surpassed China (3: 06.79) and houses Korea (3: 10.05) to ensure direct qualification.
The final alignment includes strong contenders such as Sri Lanka, China and Kazakhstan, with Sri Lanka with the fastest or 3: 01.56 of the season.
End of 10,000m of women
In the final of 10,000m female, Sanjeevani Jadhav of India recorded the best of the 33: 08.17 second season, finishing fifth, followed closely by Sema in sixth with 33: 08.23 seconds.
The event was dominated by Daisy Jepkemei or Kazakhstan (30: 48.44), ahead of Ririrak Hironika of Japan (30: 56.32) and Mikuni Yada (31: 12.21).
India has achieved eight podiums so far in the continental masterpiece, including two gold medals, four silver and two bronze.
