Israeli forces will remain in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon and Syria indefinitely to maintain security areas along the borders, said Defense Minister Israel Katz.

To defend Israel de Hamas, Hezbollah and the newly established Syrian government, Katz said that it was necessary for Israel’s defense forces to maintain a point of support in each territory for the future of foreigners.

“Unlike the past, the (Israeli army) is not evacuating areas that have been clear and seized,” Katz said Wednesday. “[The IDF] It will remain in security areas as a shock absorber between the enemy and communities (Israelis) in any temporary or permanent situation in Gaza, as in Lebanon and Syria. “

The measure is expected to complicate the high fire conversations already heated with Hamas, who is discussing a new proposal to release 10 hostages in exchange for another temporal truce.

Hamas has reiterated that he will not release the 59 hostages that he goes back to Gaza without guarantee that Israel will retire from the strip and accept a permanent peace agreement.

Israel, who occupies more than half of Gaza, has rejected the terms, with the last suggestion that the occupation would be a permanent conviction of the hostage family.

“They promised that hostages are the first. In practice, Israel is choosing the territory of the size of the hostages,” said the main families of the organization of hostages in a statement.

“There is a solution that is desirable and feasible, and it is the release of all hostages at the same time as part of an agreement, only at the cost of ending the war,” the group added.

Katz’s announcement could also the truce with Hezbollah, as well as antagonize Israel more with the new Syrian leaders, who overthrow President Bashar Assad last year.

The Lebanese president, Joseph Aoun, said that Israel’s insistence on keeping his troops in the south of Lebanon has reached his army’s ability to deploy along the border according to the high -fire agreement reached last year.

Israel accused Lebanon of not guaranteeing the withdrawal of Hezbollah from the south, with the Jewish state by restarting his bombing campaign in recent months.

While Israeli officials promoted the effectiveness of air attacks by eliminating high -ranking Hezbollah officials, the UN estimates that more than 70 civilians have been killed since the bombings resumed.

Meanwhile, in Syria, the tensions have remained high after Israel advanced from the occupied golan heights fits an established damping zone after the 1973 war after the expulsion of Assad last December.

Since then, the Jewish state has expanded its control zone in the country, which establishes conflicts with the past month of Syrian. Israeli officials have defended the expansions and subsequent attacks on Syrian military bases as necessary for the security purposes of the Nation.

The Palestinians and the officials of both neighboring countries have ultimately sentenced Israel’s occupation in their lands as a violation of international law.
