Hank Azaria reveals Bruce Springsteen reaction to EZ Street cover band

Hank Azaria is living his own days of glory.

The 60 -year -old actor and comedian appeared in “Today” Wednesday with his cover band of Bruce Springsteen, The Ez Street Band, and performed the legendary success of 1984 of 1984 “Dancing in the Dark”.

Before the presentation, Azaria told the hosts of the NBC morning program that Springsteen, 75, is very aware of his tribute band.

“Hed learned. I think he and his wife Patti [Scialfa] And I, we share a dentist friend, “Azaria explained.” He sent me a text message one day, “Send me your favorite video.” I sent them “Thunder Road”. If I knew that Patti was in his chair at that time, he would have sent him. But he apparently liked Bruce. “

“I heard he liked it,” said Dylan Dreyer Azaria.

The actor “Friends”, imitating Springsteen’s voice, replied: “Hey, hey, I liked it. I hope yes. I hope.”

Azaria pointed out that any money that his band wins for the beneficial organization with a social theme of his wife Katie Wright, four through the Foundation of four to nine.

“Yes, we play for children and we have a lot of fun,” he said.

Azaria reminded the hosts that the Cover band began last year, “felt a certain way” for 60 years.

Duration An appearance in “Live With Kelly and Mark” in February, Azaria spoke about the origins of his love for Springsteen.

“I’m from Queens. Queens is like Asbury Park but less water,” he joked. “I have been imitating Bruce since I was a teenager. Many of my first impressions are based on the worship of heroes, Bruce is on top.”

Azaria also said that it is “our goal” to bring Springstone to one of the band’s shows.

Last year, Azaria told Rolling Stone about his performance in the 60th birthday: “I was more nervous that day than the leg for any other performance in my life.”

“I had a panic attack, to be honest with you. I thought:” What am I doing? This is crazy. This is crazy! “And I had a complete panic attack,” said Azaria. “I was sweating and really vomited. I’ve never thrown out of my life in my life.”

The “Simpsons” actor added that he was possible to act with his cover band in 2,000 seats.
