Boat accident leaves 3 dead, 3 injured at Major League Fishing tournament in Alabama

A deadly incident occurred in the duration of Alabama, a fishing tournament in the big leagues on Wednesday morning.

The incident involved multiple ships in Lewis Smith Lake during the second day of Tackle Warehouse Invitational, which Major League Fishing (MLF) confirmed that it was a “serious navigation accident”, by Whnt News 19.

WBMA informs that now three bones confirmed dead, while three others were kured after the accident of multiple boats. The Alabama Law Application Agency identified one of those killed as Joey M. Broom, 58 years old.

The MLF said the incident also involved Flint Davis, a competitive Leesburg fisherman, Georgia.

“Out of respect for those involved, and to guarantee the accuracy of all the information, no more details will be disclosed at this time,” said the MLF in his statement. “MLF is working in close collaboration with law officials and emergency. Additional updates will be provided according to the appropriate authorities.

“Our thoughts, prayers and concern of the deposit are with all those affected by this tragic incident.”

The fishing tournament, which would be supposed to be held until Thursday, has been canceled.

The Callman Ema County confirmed that the accident in the lake occurred around 7 AM near Miller Bottom, CBS 42 reported, it has not become the amount of injuries, or worse, or any other person involved.

The Alabama Law Application Agency is now investigating the accident.

Davis has a victory in his career at the MLF, with 10 Top 10 finished around 63 career events. It has $ 127,690 in professional profits.
